We believe robots in the home should feel natural. They should quietly take care of things, then get out of the way.
This is why we built Lume. Our goal is to free people from laborious tasks at home without intruding on daily life or space. A home robot should be as much a decorative piece that complements the home as it is a helpful presence.
We are a small, design led team, carefully refining form, behavior, and movement into a piece that feels inevitable. Each detail is considered and reduced until only what matters remains.
Our backgrounds span robotics research and design, across institutions like Stanford, Berkeley, the University of Toronto, and Harvard, as well as companies including Tesla, Nuro, AMD, MDA, and Apple.
