a Syncere story

We believe the things we bring into our homes should be both beautiful and profoundly useful.

Technology should give us something back: our time, our attention, and more freedom to enjoy the people and moments that make a home worth having.

LUME is our first expression of that belief: a lamp that does your chores. It lives naturally in your home, takes care of everyday work, and gets more capable over time.

We are a small, design-led team bringing together robotics engineering and furniture design from places like Stanford, Harvard, the University of Toronto, AMD, and Apple to reimagine the things around us differently.

A future where the things in our homes do more for us, demand less of our attention, and give us more time to live beautifully.
