Syncere's Debut Collection at NYFW
Steps from the Met, a five-story townhouse on the Upper East Side opened its doors for Syncere’s debut Lume collection. From the street, it looked like a beautiful New York home. Inside, it became the setting for a show that revealed a little more with every floor.
Guests arrived to wine and hors d’oeuvres before making their way upstairs. Lumes appeared throughout the house, among the furnishings and in the corners of rooms, where their place in a home felt immediately clear. Park Green, Brown, Burgundy, White, and Midnight Blue each brought a different presence to the collection. Up close, guests could take in the lamps’ proportions, finishes, and craftsmanship.
As the evening moved upward, the presentation grew more revealing. Each floor offered another chance to see Lume, until its capabilities came into view alongside its design. Guests paused for a closer look, circled back through the rooms, and spoke with the Syncere designers and engineers who had brought it to life.
The invitation-only gathering brought together founders, influencers, researchers, celebrities, members of the press, tech reviewers, fashion figures, models, and Syncere’s friends and family. They had come from different worlds, drawn by the same question: what might home technology look like if it were designed to belong in the room?
Syncere’s first show offered its answer. In a townhouse just steps from Central Park, Lume’s debut introduced a new category through an experience guests could move through, see up close, and discover for themselves.
