Lume at New York Fashion Week

Syncere collaborated with Altuzarra and Advisry during New York Fashion Week, bringing Lume into the work behind both shows. Backstage, it provided light for makeup artists, seamstresses, and production crews. It also helped sort garments, pack and unpack clothing, and hand over items as the teams prepared each look.

At the Woolworth Building, Joseph Altuzarra presented his Spring 2027 collection beneath the lobby’s ornate ceilings. Lume was put to work backstage, then appeared in the presentation, its sculptural form complementing the grandeur of the room. Altuzarra has long held the attention of fashion’s most discerning figures; Anna Wintour and Rihanna have both worn his designs. Here, Lume belonged among the beautiful objects on view as much as it belonged to the work that brought them there.

At Advisry, Lume helped light the workspaces behind Keith Herron’s show. Herron founded the label as a teenager. Advisry has since been worn by Abloh, Tyler the Creator, Kid Cudi, Stephen Curry, and Greta Lee. Its reach across fashion, music, film, and sport reflects the breadth of the world Herron creates around his collections.

Backstage at Fashion Week, there is nowhere for poor light to hide. Makeup must read perfectly, seams need a final check, and every garment has to be ready on cue. Lume brought bright, steady light and intelligent assistance to that work, while its sculptural form looked at home alongside two very different fashion houses.

If Lume can help professionals prepare a look for the runway, where every detail matters, imagine what it can do for the everyday work of a home.
