Inside Syncere’s First NYC Store

In New York’s Meatpacking District, Syncere opened its first physical store and gave Lume a world of its own.

The space was designed to make people linger. Each lamp had room to be admired as an object: its silhouette, its finish, the care evident in every detail. Visitors moved through the collection at their own pace, taking it in before discovering what Lume could do.

Then they interacted with it. Seeing a lamp take on chores in person brought a different energy to the room. People who had wandered in from the street stopped to watch. Some FaceTimed relatives so they could see it too, turning their phones toward Lume as if words alone would never quite explain it. There was a sense that something impossible had become real.

The store made room for that moment. Visitors could look closely, see Lume in action, and talk with the Syncere team about the craft and ideas behind it. Its beauty drew people through the door; experiencing it gave them a story to take home.

Guests also received an invite code to purchase Lume, available only by visiting a Syncere pop up. For those who made the trip, the first chance to own one came with the pleasure of seeing it for themselves.
